The collection is the legacy of William Robert Johnston, antique dealer and collector of beautiful things

Our Guild was invited to join with the Embroiderers' Guild Of Victoria (Geelong Branch)
the Porcelain Artists, the Trolly Dolly Cloth Doll Club and other groups from the
Geelong area
to create the decoration of the House for Christmas 2009

Committee: Pat Norton, Magda Moore, Judy Alcock

It is all installed and The House looks magnificent !!

We have decorated the bedroom with its small sitting room and bathroom

Note: it is a requirement that each decorative piece should connect with the line or form, or decoration of furniture or an object in the collection
OR it should relate to an aspect of Mr Johnston's life

The guides talk about these links as well as showing the pieces
