Congratulations to the Art Play Group for its success at Vic Quilters' Showcase 2011

This group has grown from a trial timeslot for playing with some of the ideas and techniques that belong more to Art Quilts than to Traditional

Sometimes 'hands on', sometimes not

It is evolving over time and offers an opportunity for ...

• learning from one another

• bringing pieces along for discussion - what problems were solved; what problems were NOT solved

• bouncing ideas - sharing - critique in a trusted environment

• experimenting with various techniques or media on small pieces - maybe around A4 size

• items being hung in the corridor for general viewing interest, if appropriate

The leadership rotates each six months for continuity in planning and to use various talents - no one has all the answers!
The organisers for the current 6 months are listed on the Committee page.

This group meets at 11.30 am on Meeting Day, in the front room when possible (to be able to concentrate without the noise of the main hall)
